Head south on Highway 9 to the Frisco Peninsula, where you’ll find the iconic and appropriately named Frisco Adventure Park. This easily accessible, diverse playground boasts activities galore for the whole family. You’ll find miles of hiking and biking trails, lakeside camping, a free skate park, a bike park, a disc golf course and a spectacular log-built day lodge. In the winter, warm up in the lodge in front of a roaring fireplace or grab refreshments from the snack bar.
Pile a few people on one tube or grab your own and go zipping down sweet trails all over the county. Snow tubing is something the whole family can enjoy without a ski pass. Make reservations before you go, and expect much more of a rush than you get from your friendly neighborhood sled hill. Ride back up in style, in most places on a covered moving carpet.
