Cutthroat Anglers

Tying a fly on a hook

Fishing guide service and instruction can be found at Cutthroat Anglers tucked on the Blue River in quiet Silverthorne. Take a fly-fishing lesson to learn how or to brush up your skills before heading out on a guided trip. Then choose from a float, still water or winter trip. Float trips travel the Colorado River, Arkansas River or Roaring Fork River. Still water trips visit Spinney Mountain Reservoir, Williams Fork Reservoir or Antero Reservoir. Wade trips vary depending on where the fish are feeding. For a Summit County day option, consider fly fishing on the Blue River tailwaters, which are available even in the winter. Gear, transportation and refreshments are included in trips. For a special treat, Cutthroat Anglers offers access to private water fishing as well. Cutthroat Anglers’ website offers online shopping for tackle and gear.
