Climbing at A Basin

Go climbing on rock walls or guided roots, or find a climb to challenge the experts. Summit’s got climbs for every skill level, and Arapahoe Basin’s Via Ferrata is the newest guided mountain adventure.

Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata

Arapahoe Basin’s Via Ferrata is an incredible experience.

If you are an experienced climber with your own gear, there are plenty of great places to climb. Check out Prospector Campground for beginner climbs and bouldering. Peru Creek in Montezuma and Arapahoe Basin both have great climbs for more intermediate and advanced climbers. Those who are experienced can also check out a great climb at Mt. Royal in Frisco.

Colorado Adventure Guides can set you up with a guide for any skill level who can show you the right climbing spots and set you up with gear. Get your climbing in before 2pm here in Summit to avoid surprise storms in the evening.
